The big event, as always, will be the new iPhones, with two successors to the iPhone XS and XS Max, possibly called iPhone Pro and iPhone Pro Max. I’m not expecting any mention of the rumored MacBook Pro 16in, though, that will come later. And there’ll be more detail on the upcoming macOS Catalina software. There’ll be the updates for watchOS, tied to the new hardware. There’ll be a recap of the new features coming in iOS 13, likely to be released in the day or so following the keynote. Quite a lot, actually, so the keynote may be as long as it was at this year's WWDC – two hours plus. Lavender has never been in the Apple logo. Last year’s went out 11 days before, Apple is completely on its usual timetable, it turns out. In fact, the answer is straightforward: there’s usually a week’s gap between IFA and the Apple event, so today’s invites have gone out 12 days before the event.
